Why we started Golf Moldova
What this site will cover, who it's for, and how you can help us build the most useful guide to golf in the country.
Golf in Moldova is small, and information about it is scattered. If you want to play here, you’ll usually find yourself piecing together details from social media posts, word of mouth and out-of-date listings. This site is our attempt to put it in one place.
What we’ll cover
We’re organising everything into four sections, because people come to golf in Moldova for different reasons:
- Travel for visitors planning a trip, including how to combine a round with the country’s wine regions.
- Local for people who live and play here: clubs, lessons, competitions and community news.
- Business for expats and visiting professionals looking for a game or a corporate golf day.
- Industry for anyone following new facilities, investment and the organisations growing the sport.
How we work
We’ll only list a course or facility once we’ve checked the details, and we’ll date every guide so you know how current it is. If we’ve been hosted or a post is sponsored, we’ll say so at the top.
